Week 3

06 May 2022

This week it was lovely to see parents and discuss the progress that the children have been making across the year. It was also nice to finally be able to share some of the work that your children have produced throughout the year too!

This week Year 2 have been sitting assessments and worked very hard to sit these. They have also started a new unit called 'Friendship song'. In this unit, the children will learn a song about what it means to be a good friend, and will listen to songs by famous artists such as Bill Withers and Bruno Mars.

For those of you asking about the Maths and Reading documents I spoke about during the parent meetings, please see the article two before this entitled 'An update from Miss West'. If you scroll to the bottom you can find the documents. You can use the contents page to help focus on the areas I spoke to you about regarding your own child's areas of need. I hope you find these useful.

Have a lovely weekend!
