Week 6

11 Feb 2022

Maths
In Maths this week we have been finishing off our multiplication and division unit and completing our end of unit assessments. The children have worked hard to learn how to divide and multiply by 2,5 and 10. It is now important that they continue to practice this skill at home using times table rockstars.

English
This week in English, the children have watched a video called Marshmallows. They used this video to help them write character descriptions, using expanded noun phrases and conjunctions to do this.

I have printed off a copy of the home learning books for the units we have studied this half term, from the White Rose Maths website. I do not expect to see these back after half term in school. However, I felt it would give you more of an insight into what we have covered this half term, and give your child more practice with these skills.

I hope you all have a lovely half term and see you in a week!
