Maths
This week in Maths we have moved on to a new unit of learning: multiplication and division. The children have been learning about equal and unequal groups as well as using repeated addition and arrays. We will soon be learning about the X sign and the children will be learning the 2s, 5s and 10s times tables. I will then be testing them on these each week. Please ensure your child is logging into timestable rockstars every day and practising, as this is a skill that your child is expected to know by the end of year 2. This week in English, the children have been sequencing the story of Caterpillar shoes, in order to write their own versions. They have worked extremely hard to include lots of wonderful language in their stories.
