London Calling

31 Jan 2015

This week we have been writing about exciting places to visit in London so that Dora the explorer
can have a great time. The children used pencil and ink to draw the ArcelorMittal orbit in the Olympic park and made pictorial maps of the River Thames. If you want to see their results they will be on display in the corridor this week. Well done to Jasmine C who is proving to be a very good artist.
In Science we went on a materials walk to find out which materials are used in our school and why.
Some children completed excellent homework last week. Well done.

We have been carrying out assessments and the children should feel very proud of their achievements as it shows their excellent progress since last time. I am really thrilled for them and it allows them to see with hard work, you can achieve so much.

Please feel free to comment on any work you have seen as it is helpful to me to read these.
