This week the children have been reading The Penguin and the Pinecone and we discussed creatures that live in cold climates which they enjoyed. On Wednesday, the children made their own chocolate covered banana 'penguin' snacks. They looked great and the children thought that they were delicious! Later in the week, the children made sensory bottles and enjoyed making music with their new toys. Finally, the children made footprints penguins and they look brilliant! Our sound this week was 'c'. They practised writing the sound and learning the rhyme 'curl around the caterpillar'.
