Happy Birthday Maisie/ World Nursery Rhyme Week

Miss Kelly - 20 Nov 2020

Dear parents and carers,

We have a wonderful week! We have been doing lots of singing and dancing in Nursery this week. We have been celebrating World Nursery Rhyme Week and have been singing some of favourite rhymes. We hope you have had a chance to hear your child singing their favourite nursery rhymes at home.

This week we have been learning about Birthdays and have used the book Happy Birthday Maisie as our main focus. We have been decorating cupcakes and counting candles and have talked about our own birthdays.

In maths we have been doing lots of counting this week and played lots of counting games as well as singing lots of counting nursery rhymes!!

Next week we will be reading The Everywhere Bear!

This weeks homework has been uploaded on Seesaw today.

Reminder- PE starts on Monday 23rd November 2020. If your child attend this session, please send them into school already dressed in their PE kit. Please ensure that your child’s PE kit and plimsols is clearly labelled with their name.
The PE kit consists of:
  • White or Blue T-shirt
  • Navy or black tracksuit bottoms
  • Socks
  • Black Plimsolls/ Black trainers
  • Brady Jumper or Cardigan (because it’s so cold!)
Please have a look at some of pictures for this week-
