Nursery Spring 1 Week 3

Wow we have been so proud of our new starters! A couple may have had a few tears at the door, but after a cuddle the children have been so brave, mature and happy playing in our nursery. Welcome to them all.

This week in nursery we have been learning about Chinese New Year. We have been learning about the story of the 12 animals running the race. We have drawn our favourite animals, and had races in the garden. We have been clever enough to try and order the animals from first to last. We have enjoyed junk box modelling a big dragon and listening to music and dancing Luon and Dragon dances.

The deadline for Reception 2026 applications was Thursday 15th January 2026. If you
need to make a late application then please visit the website above for further information.

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please note there's a different process for school transfers. You'll need to contact the Special Educational Needs Team directly at sen@havering.gov.uk to discuss changing your child's school.

Easter holiay dates are from Monday 30th March to Friday 10th April 2026.
Children return to school on Monday 13th April 2026.
