Summer 2- Week 2- Build it up

16 Jun 2023

In Nursery this week we have continued with our build it up topic. We have also enjoyed  learning more new sounds in our phonics sessions. We have looked at materials and decided if they are hard or soft and the different sounds these makes. We have also been doing lots of counting from 0-10 and back again. As well as thinking about one more and one less.

It has been another hot week, so we have drunk lots of water and made time for plenty of rest breaks to cool and calm our bodies.  Please remember to put suncream on the children before school and bring a sun hat each day now the weather is warm.

Finally, this week the children have really impressed us with some of the imaginative play they have been doing, They have built campfires, found dinosaur teeth in the sand, made up our own game of musical chairs and even bought 'ice creams' to cool us down.

Have a lovely weekend.
