Chicks

Dear Parents and carers,
We have a lovely 2 weeks with our new friends (the chicks) who have come to join us in Nursery.
We have watched them hatching and growing into the fluffy little chicks that they are today. It is a shame that they have now left but nevertheless this has been wonderful experience for all of the children.
Over the last two weeks we have been learning all about the lifecycle of a chicken and writing our class diary each day of how they have changed.
The names that were chosen for the chicks were:
Henrietta
Chicki Micki
Batman
Eggcelent
Pecky
Chip
Yokey
Rose
Chickling
Bubblegum
We hope that the children have enjoyed watching the chicks hatch and grow as much as we have!
Next week, we will be continuing our topic of this half term ‘Lifecycles’ by learning about the lifecycles of plants. We will be reading the story 10 seeds by Ruth Brown.
