Owl Babies

Miss Kelly - 04 Dec 2020

Dear parents and carers,

We have had a lovely week learning about the Owl Babies. We have been learning to recognise written numerals (which has been a bit of a challenge). We have also been practicing our Nativity songs (which have been upload to seesaw). However, please find the links and lyrics to the songs below (at the bottom of the page).

I really enjoyed speaking to all of the parents during parents’ evening to discuss how much your child has progressed since they started at Brady Nursery.

Seesaw-
This week’s homework has been uploaded onto Seesaw.
Important Dates for the next 2 weeks:
  • Monday 7th December- Please bring your child’s Christmas jumpers in a clearly labelled bag. We will keep these for 2 or 3 days to record our Nativity.
  • Monday 7th December- Santa is visiting us! (shhh, the children don’t know yet, please don’t tell them!)
  • Wednesday 9th December- Christmas Lunch. Children can choose a Christmas lunch and their teachers will join them at lunch time. (This is still a uniform day, but they can wear festive head gear- hats, headbands etc.)
  • Friday 11th December- Christmas jumper day. Please see the poster on your child’s classroom door for more details.
  • Friday 11th December- Please feel free to donate any party food for our party on the 16th. These have to be individually wrapped items such as: cake bars, crisps, cartons of juice. There is a nut allergy in EYFS so please take this into account when donating.
  • Wednesday 16th December- Christmas Party in Nursery.
  • Wednesday 16th December- Friday 18th December- Nativity will be available to watch online
  • Friday 18th December- Last day of term. Children finish at the normal time and this is a uniform day.
  • Monday 4th January 2021- INSET DAY. Children do not attend
  • Tuesday 5th January 2021- Children return to school.
