English
This week in English, we wrote our invitations for someone from a different planet, inviting them on to planet Earth. We also recapped on our knowledge of writing a non-chronological report, we planned it and wrote non-chronological report about planet Earth.
Maths
In maths this week we have been learning about positional language. We have covered quarter, half, three quarter and full turns, learning our left and right and using the vocabulary forwards and backwards to describe where different objects are.
Other
Science we looked at characteristics of animals. In Geography we learnt to identify features and landmarks on an aerial photograph. In Computing we got our inspiration from Mondrian’s grid painting and created our own art on computers.
Children return to school on Monday 3^rd June.
School will be closed on Wednesday 6^th June for staff Inset day.
