English
This week in English, we were working on writing our own poems. We first carefully planned what we were going to include in our poems e.g. rhyming words, adjectives, words that were interesting and fun. We then wrote our own poems using our plans. We also performed the poems in front of the class using expressions and sounds.
Maths
In maths this week we carried on working on fractions- doubling and having, finding a quarter of shape/object, finding a quarter of a quantity and sharing by making equal groups.

Other
In Geography this week, we learnt about weather and climate around the world, we looked at different hot and cold countries in the world. We also thought about what would we pack in our bags if we were travelling to either hot or cold countries. 
Science we looked at characteristics of animals.
In RE, we looked at how Muslims celebrate birth of a baby in the family.
