Year 1 Summer 1 Week 6

English
This week the children have been writing bug poems. These poems were fantastic so they performed them to each other. They added actions to their performances too to make them even more enjoyable.

Maths
In Maths Year 1 have been recapping counting in 2s, 10s and 5s. They have also been learning to share amounts into equal groups and to multiply using repeated addition.

Other
We have all been preparing for the Jubilee this week and the children were extremely excited to share what they had made and to have had lunch with their grownups!
