It feels a lot like Christmas

What a wonderfully busy week! We have been eagerly awaiting the Christmas festivities to begin. So far we have made snowmen, christmas trees and 2018 calendars.

In phonics we learnt the sounds y and w.

In maths we have been working to recognise missing numbers 1-10 and then 1-20.

I am so proud of Reception and the whole of KS1 for their incredible performance during the nativity today and I'm looking forward to their performance tomorrow (Friday) too. :)

SCHOOL ADMISSIONS - excluding Nursery

Children born between 01/09/2021 - 31/08/2022 are due to start Reception in September 2026.
Applications close on 15th January, 2026. Offer day is in the evening of 16th April, 2026.

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please note there's a different process for school transfers. You'll need to contact the Special Educational Needs Team directly at sen@havering.gov.uk to discuss changing your child's school.

School will finish for the Christmas Holidays on Friday 19th December (children will leave school at 1:15pm) and will return to school on Monday 5th January 2026.
