Snappy Snappy Crocs

Mrs Zaayman & Miss Kelly - 30 Jan 2020

This week in Reception we have had a busy but snappy week learning about crocodiles. In English, we read the story ‘Beware of the Crocodile’ by Martin Jenkins. We also discussed the difference between fiction and non-fiction books. We have also been writing facts about crocodiles and acrostic poems about crocodiles.

In maths, we have learnt what ‘smaller’, ‘larger’, ‘shorter’ and ‘longer’ means and ordering objects according to their size.

We have had a lovely week researching crocodiles (and other animals too!) and have discovered that crocodiles live on land and in water too!

Our topic for next week will be Surprising Sharks!

Have a great weekend!

Mrs Zaayman, Miss Kelly & the Reception Team! x
