W.B. 9th March

This week in Year 1, the children have been working hard to complete their end of term assessments. It was wonderful to see their progress in their learning, as well as their growing maturity in being able to complete tasks independently. Well done, Year 1!
In English, the children read the story Dogger all about a boy who loses his beloved stuffed toy. The children used the story to write descriptively about Dogger. They then created their own lost posters, to help Dave find his toy again!
In History, the children learned about family trees. They had great fun discussing their parents, grandparents and other relatives. We read about a fictional child and helped sort his family members onto a family tree, before created our own!
