Sum 2 Week 1- Toasters & Split Pins

Welcome back! We hope you had a fun and restful break. We enjoyed hearing all about your lovely adventures. This term our topic is called Marvellous Machines. We will be learning about lots of different machines and exploring what they do / how they work.

This week, we began our learning by making toast! We made predictions about what we think will happen to the bread when we put it in the toaster. We got to eat the toast with a choice of butter, chocolate spread or jam. We used split pins to make our own robots and later this week we will be using the chromebooks.

In Maths, we have been reading The Hundred Decker Bus and exploring odd and even numbers. You can practise this at home by trying to find odd and even numbers around your environment.
