Sum 1 Week 2- Chicks & Planting

We have had a lovely week in Reception, watching the chicks grow. We are sad to see them go this week but have really enjoyed our time with them. In our chick diaries we have:
- drawn an observational drawing of the chicks
- written the chicks a good bye letter
- labelled parts of a chick
- learnt about the lifecycle of a chick
In maths we have been really focusing on addition; adding more, finding the total and using number lines to jump on. Later in the week, we will begin developing our outdoor planting area by planting seeds and watching them grow.
