Reception- Queen's Jubilee Week

We have been super busy getting ready for and learning all about the Queen's platinum jubilee celebrations. Without giving too much away, below are some of the crafts we have been taking part in...

This week we have been learning about and ordering the Queen's life, who the Royal Family is, flags that make up the United Kingdom and much more. In maths children have been consolidating their learning of subtracting using 10 frames and writing number sentences.

We look forward to seeing you for the Jubilee celebrations tomorrow (27th) and wish you all a restful Half Term break.

The deadline for Reception 2026 applications was Thursday 15th January 2026. If you
need to make a late application then please visit the website above for further information.

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please note there's a different process for school transfers. You'll need to contact the Special Educational Needs Team directly at sen@havering.gov.uk to discuss changing your child's school.

Easter holiay dates are from Monday 30th March to Friday 10th April 2026.
Children return to school on Monday 13th April 2026.
