Reception Aut 2 Week 1 Continued...

As we end this week in Reception, children have had a fantastic time learning and settling back into the routine of school after half term.
On Wednesday we had a visit from the dragon in the story! In maths we have been using the language "longer" and "shorter" to measure and compare sticks and other objects.
We have learnt 4 sounds now! m, a, s and d.
Please do check Seesaw for phonics and maths homework, as well as some work around Room on the Broom too.
We would like to remind you that as of 11.11.2020, PE in Reception will now take place on a Wednesday afternoon. Studs should be removed on PE days and no other jewellry is permitted at school. If you could send your child in velcro trainers on Wednesdays, that would be most helpful as laces are quite tricky for us!
Next Friday (13th November) is Children in Need. The children are invited to come into school with wacky hair styles and/or their brightest clothes. We are asking for donations of £1.
