Welcome to Reception

Welcome to Reception!!!

WOW, what a wonderful two transition weeks we have had. We have spent these two weeks doing lots of learning, lots of getting to know each other and best of all lots of playing (remember we learn lots through play).

We have looked at numbers, letters and had a go at counting objects. We have read our favourite stories and we have even played some fun circle time games such as ‘Duck, Duck, Goose’

The children have had such a lovely two weeks and so have we, as a Reception staff team, and we cannot wait to spend even more time together as a whole class.

We look forward to seeing you all bright and early on Monday, ready to start Brady full time.

The deadline for Reception 2026 applications was Thursday 15th January 2026. If you
need to make a late application then please visit the website above for further information.

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please note there's a different process for school transfers. You'll need to contact the Special Educational Needs Team directly at sen@havering.gov.uk to discuss changing your child's school.

Easter holiay dates are from Monday 30th March to Friday 10th April 2026.
Children return to school on Monday 13th April 2026.
