The flu vaccine is being offered again this year to all children in Reception through to Year 6. Two dates have been set aside - Friday 6th October and Friday 17th November. (The 17th is a "sweep-up" session for any children who miss the 6th October.)
Attached is an E-Consent letter and enclosed in the letter is an online link where you can submit a consent form. Please note, the portal shuts 2 days before the vaccination session. Vaccination UK will again be offering the nasal spray as well as the gelatine free alternative which is an injection. The nasal spray is more effective for young people however, if you wish for their child to receive the flu injection instead of the nasal spray, you will need to consent to the vaccination and then you are given the option of nasal spray or injection.
