Miss Line - 18 Dec 2025

Maths

In Maths this week we have looked at imperial measures as well as completing out end of block assessment on converting units of measure.

Science

We have finished our topic in Science this week on microorganisms where we looked at the effects of yeast in baking.

French

For French we have come to the end of our unit for this half term on learning how to read, write and speak about the date.

On Tuesday this week, Upper Key Stage 2 held their Christmas Carol Concert which was a great success.

SCHOOL ADMISSIONS - excluding Nursery

For school admissions information and to apply, go to:

Children born between 01/09/2021 - 31/08/2022 are due to start Reception in September 2026.
Applications close on 15th January, 2026. Offer day is in the evening of 16th April, 2026.

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please note there's a different process for school transfers. You'll need to contact the Special Educational Needs Team directly at sen@havering.gov.uk to discuss changing your child's school.

School will finish for the Christmas Holidays on Friday 19th December (children will leave school at 1:15pm) and will return to school on Monday 5th January 2026.
