Week 3 Summer 3

Well done for another great week Year 4.
In Maths, we have completed our topic 'Shape'. We have been learning all about quadrilaterals, triangles and polygons. We have looked at properties such as length of lines, angles and pairs of parallel lines.
During our Reading lessons, we have nearly finished our novel Alice in Wonderland. The children have been working on their vocabulary, retrieval and summary skills. The children have enjoyed this novel and are sad to be finishing it soon!
In English, we are preparing to write a newspaper article all about a big event that has happened in Rainham. They have been learning how to use captions, writing in past tense and using inverted commas for speech.
