Maths
This week we have been learning to tell the time! So far we have been learning to read the times o'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to. The children have really impressed me with this so far and lots of practice at home will help to consolidate this skill too! Below is a link to a game we have enjoyed using to help us learn in class:

English
In English we have been writing recounts based on our own experiences. This week the children wrote recounts about the Jubilee celebrations
Foundation
In Science, we we have been learning about what plants need to thrive. We planted 4 seeds and put them in different conditions. We will be observing these plants in a few weeks to see how changing their conditions impacts their growth.
In RE the children have been learning about Prophet Mohammad and learning some of the stories that he told. The children learned the story of Mohammad and the ants and the crying camel. We spoke about what these stories teach Muslims about how animals should be treated.
