English
This week in English we have listened to a poem called 'The Sound Collector'. The children learned how to use the -ness suffix. They then used these words to write their own version of the poem - The Taste Collector!
Maths
In Maths this week, the children have been learning to count in steps of 2, 5 and 10s. They have also been learning to count in steps of 3 too. Please practise this with your child when you get the chance!
Foundation
In Science this week, the children were learning about different uses for materials. We looked at waterproof materials and used crayon wax to create our own waterproof fabric. The children also drew self portraits in their art lesson this week. In music, the children tried composing some of their own music to fit in with the song we have been learning - Hands, feet, heart.
