Well done for another great week, Year 5!
This week, in English, we have started to plan our diary entries. Our diary entry is going to be written from the perspective of Macbeth, linking to our Shared Reading text. We have also been doing some extra grammar based sessions, to boost the children's progress and writing skills.
In Maths, we have finished our new unit- Fractions B. The children have really impressed us with their resilience during this topic.
In Science, we have been continuing with our topic Porperties of Materials. Our lesson this week was focused on evaporation and filtration to be able to seperate materials.
Just a gentle reminder that 5S have their class assembly on Monday at 9:15. This will be followed by Year 5 shared learning. Parents from 5PS, please do not arrive till 9:30.
