Well done for a great week year 3!

This week in English, the pupils started writing their first draft of a recount using time adverbials and apostrophes for possession. This will continue next week when pupils write their final draft.

In Maths this week, pupils have finished their topic of statistics and have completed their end of unit assessment. The last week will be pupils consolidating their maths skills and we will be revisiting every unit.

In science this week, pupils made foam dough and used food colouring and glitter to make it more appealing. Pupils designed an advertisement poster for their silly putty.

In History this week, we found out why the Romans left Britain and the impact this had. Pupils wrote a letter to a Roman emperor expressing their thoughts and persuading them not to leave. Next week pupils will be creating a poster all about the Roman empires and emperors.

In DT this week, pupils made their greenhouses using recycled materials.

Please ensure all pupils are wearing a hat and bring in their own water bottle, as the weather gets warmer.
