Well done for another great week year 3!
English
This week we have been writing a plan, first draft and final draft of a diary entry. We have used our new features of 'inverted commas' and 'subordinate clauses' in our writing. We have written our diary entries on ‘Escape from Pompeii’.
Maths
In Maths we have continued our topic of 'time', where we have looked at finding and calculating ‘duration’, problem solving with time and finding hours, minutes and seconds.
Science
In science this week, we have continued to explore the effects of 'pollination' and looked at ‘germination and dispersal’ of seeds. We have created our own seed spinner.
Break the Rules Day
Today was ‘Break the Rule Day’, where children were given a list of rules they were allowed to ‘break’. Well done for breaking the rules so creatively! (Just this once).
