Welcome back and Happy new year! We hope you all had a lovely break.
English
Over the next three weeks we will be focusing on a wordless book called 'Flotsam'. The pupils have enjoyed discussing the book and going on a treasure hunt around the school to find objects in the book. Next week we will be hot seating the main character from the book to find out how he felt on his trip to the beach.
Maths
In Maths this week we have looked at the times tables and have been practising this on TTRS. We have also focused on multiplication facts and related calculations.
History
In History this week, we have started our new topic 'Gods and mortals'. The pupils researched about different Gods and Goddesses and created a factfile about the Greek God Zeus.
Next week in DT we will be preparing to make cams. Please can you bring in any cardboard boxes such as, tissue boxes and shoe boxes by Monday.
