Spring Term Week 12

Well, that's two out of three terms finished!
Please note after the Easter break PE will be back to Fridays. Please send children in in the appropriate kit.
After the Easter break we will begin a new topic called 'Magnificent Monarchs'.
These are this week's notices:
- Key Stage 1 assessments will be taking place in late May.
- Children who need to resit their Year 1 phonics screening assessment will do so in June.
- Children who wish to do their bikeability training but did not get a place in the Spring term will have another opportunity to sign up in the Summer term. Mrs. Shah has already booked in more sessions for the week beginning 15th of July. More information will be sent out nearer the time.
Maths
This week we began our Fractions block. We started by studying wholes, parts and equal parts before moving on to finding halves, quarters and thirds.
Art
This week we have been sketching and shading still life drawings.
