4S have had a fantastic first week settling back into school and getting into the swing of Year 4.
In English, we have started to learn about Character Descriptions, preparing for when we write our own one about the mighty Boudicca. We are linking this English work to History, Geography and Art, where we are also studying Boudicca and the Roman Empire, in tune with our topic 'I am Warrior'.
The children have made an amazing start to Maths, where we have focussed on place value. Everyone has shown great understanding, and are becoming increasingly more conident every day in their abilities.
We have also started learning the song Mamma Mia in music, which Miss Smith has been very happy about! The children have done so well learning the words and the tune of the song, and all sing with confidence when performing together.
