Year 4 Update 15/01

15 Jan 2020

The week in literacy, we have been gathering information for our diary entries. We have been reading more of the wonderful Phillip Pullman book and have completed some hot seating sessions where we have pretended to be the two main characters Bob and Joan.

In music, we have had fun using a new online resource with many fun and interactive games. We have also started to learn the lyrics to a famous ABBA song Mamma Mia.

In maths, are continuing to learn about our times tables knowledge. We have been focusing on solving different types of multiplication problems and will spend the rest of the week focusing on multiplying 2 ad 3-digit numbers by 1-digit numbers.

During our science lessons this week we have had fun learning all about the different names and functions of the parts of the digestive system.
