Year 1 have had a fantastic week!
This week we have begun our new fractions lesson, recognising and finding halves. Children enjoyed find halves in shapes and objects.
We have been writing our own versions of ‘Handa’s surprise’ where we wrote and created our own book using illustration and focus on British animals and fruits.
In science, we are nearing to the end of our topic of ‘plants’ where we have continued to look at plants and different types of leaves.
Children had an exciting week where some attended the school disco and had a fun time; we also had a kind visitor who taught and allowed children to play with scooters!
Have a good weekend everyone!
