Spring 2 week 5

This week in Year 5 has been assessment week! The children have all worked extremely hard to focus on showing their abilities across Maths, Grammar and Reading. I have been very proud of how hard they have concentrated this week - well done Year 5.
In Literacy, the children have been writing Mother's Day poems. They have looked at example of poetry used in cards and created their own poetry dedicated to their mothers. They are lovely poems and I won't spoil the surprise by posting any on here!
We are getting very close to our residential to Stubbers, which is very exciting. I have sent a letter home with Year 5 with some last minute information before we got. Please if you are unclear about anything or have any questions, speak to me after school before we go.
