Maths
This week in Maths we have been learning about fractions, decimals and percentages. We have been learning how to write decimals as fractions and percentages, and vice versa. The children have also been working out percentages of given amounts. They have worked hard at this and made good progress.
Literacy
In Literacy, the children have been planning and writing a speech. They have been sure to use persuasive devices to try and convince the adults that they should be the next head boy or head girl. These will be read out infront of the class when Mr Nunn is ready to make that all important decision!
Topic
In our new topic, Scream Machine, we used the location of theme parks across the UK to look at rural and urban areas, and how they use the land differently. In R.E. we have been looking at the concept of Moksha and Karma. We created our own version of Snakes and Ladders to show good and bad decisions that we could use which would lead to good or bad karma!
