Maths
This week we have been learning how to divide numbers using short division. We also solved different reasoning problems.
English
In literacy, we have been writing the main character and setting descriptions. We also continued reading a new book "I was a rat! or The scarlet slippers" (Phillip Pullman). Children wrote their plans for their diaries and tomorow they will write a diary entry to retell the events about the rat boy.
Science
In science, children were learning the parts of digestive system and its functions in human and animal bodies. We discussed how food is digested and where the digestion process starts. Children compared animal and human digestive systems and recorded their findings in a book.
