Maths
This week in maths we have been measuring in cm and mm. We moved onto calculating the perimeter of shapes and the children have been working really hard.
Literacy
In literacy we have been looking at nonsense poetry and the children had lots of fun thinking of nonsense words. They supported each other on how to make their poems better by sharing their ideas and suggesting improvements. Their poems were great to read with some intriguing sentences!
Topic
This week the children have been learning about our skeletons and muscles and why these are important to us. They also found out about vertebrates and invertebrates and identified these.
