Year 3 Shared Learning

This week Year 3 have been really busy! They started their week with shared learning, decorating cakes and biscuits. The children had lots of fun and made some brilliant designs. The children have worked really hard for their assembly too which was fantastic!
 
Maths 
In maths this week we have been focusing on repeated addition for multiplication which the children have done really well with and have almost grasped this concept. Next week in maths we will be focusing on measuring in cm and mm.
 
Literacy
In literacy we had an author visit us and he supported the children to write a fictional story called ‘Super Stew’. We also began to look at nonsense poetry and we made up our own nonsense words.
