Christmas week in Reception

What a busy time of year, we’ve had a wonderful short week in Reception.
The children tried really hard in the Nativity shows and we were very proud of them. How gorgeous they all looked up on the stage! Unfortunately we are unable to post photos of the nativity as several children in the Infants do not have photo permission, but we really hope you made it to one of the shows to see for yourselves.
Our party was very exciting on Monday afternoon. We danced, ate and played games. Who could ask for more!? Mrs Divall and Miss Hunt ate too many chicken nuggets!!
This week, we have included phonics practise for you child, and a reading book. Please don’t leave it a full two weeks before you practise them, we don’t want all of the children’s amazing knowledge to fall out of their brains!
May we take this opportunity to wish you a very happy and safe Christmas break and also to thank you very much for the cards and presents we have recieved.
We will look forward to more fun and learning together in 2019!
