Week 7 - The Billy Goats Gruff
Miss Bhambra - 27 May 2016
There has been some really good learning this week! On Monday we had our class assembly and we all really enjoyed performing to the rest of the school and some of the parents and carers that came- thank you for coming! We enjoyed showing a bit of everything we have been learning about this half term, from fairy-tales to counting in 5’s and 10’s and everything in between!
In maths, we have been doing a lot of work on adding 1, 2, 3 and 4 more, and taking away 1, 2, 3 and 4 too! In Literacy this week, we have been reading the “Three Billy Goats Gruff” and we have absolutely loved it! We have had a debate about the troll, we acted out the story using masks and stick puppets and we even made our own Billy Goat Gruff books!
Please find the homework for your children to complete in their school bags and don’t forget to send them with their PE kits after the half term holiday. We hope you all have a fun, well-rested half term break and we look forward to seeing you back at school on the 6th June, ready for Reception to complete their last 7 weeks before moving up to year 1.
Happy Half Term!
